So, I’ve kinda been slack, and stressed and/or busy in real life and so this extremely important date almost slipped past me! I would never have forgiven myself if I’d missed it.
Today is the day Monika
would have turned 50!
Music was a HUGE part of her life (it’s part of the reason Disco computer worked as well as it did), and in celebration, her brother David Ciura is doing a live set of her fave tunes on twitch later on today from about 5pm.
And while you don’t have to have an account to view on the event on a computer, you do if you want to use twitch on your phone and/or comment on anything that’s happening.
On a related note, work is continuing to find a new singer and direction for the band, but fuck, I miss her!
