So, as the second anniversary of Moni’s passing comes barrelling rapidly down the highway, her brother David has made a documentary about Moni’s struggles with Cancer.
At the moment, the film is only screening in New South Wales (Where David and Monika are from), but plans are most certainly afoot to have screenings here in Melbourne.
And we ALL know that if that happens, you just know Tony will be there. Hopefully, you will be as well…

On a related note, our plans to do a tribute performance from Disco HQ dedicated to Monika’s memory on July 4th have come to a abrupt halt. Tony has suddenly found he has to is move house over the next few weeks and Nesina has gigs elsewhere a few days later so our plan to do a live tribute won’t be happening on the day…
That said, there’s no reason we can’t do one later in the year, or even next year. Work continues at our end on cataloguing the material Monika wrote for Disco Computer, and Monika also had a poetry page on Facebook, we’ll see if we can document some of that as well or maybe even turn one or two into new material…
